Tip of the Month:    December 2000 Problem - How do you put your over-trousers on easily over your boots without having to hop around on one leg, tugging away? Take a plastic carrier bag with you on the fells, put your boot in it then pull your over-trouser leg up over the bag - the plastic stops the boots catching on heals and other rough edges.  Do the same for the other leg then remove the plastic bag to avoid looking like a pratt.
