Start is at Wasdale Head Inn car park - 4.5 miles and 2,360 feet of ascent (Summit 2620' and car park 260')

Entries on the day £3.50 with all proceeds to Wasdale Mountain Rescue Team - Good prizes including spot prizes

Race started at 2.00 p.m. from the Wasdale Head Inn car park.

The first male runner in would be Willie Bell  (number 130) who finished in 52 minutes and 6 seconds.  Course record held by Tim Austin, 46 mins 02 secs
