The overall winners medal
for the seniors are as indicated in photo and will be presented on the
Easter Monday for the longest time hanging on the wall. Junior medals are slightly
smaller. Medals will also be presented for those who win on each of
the three days. The medal depicts a climber on
a rockface - it comes in a very nice presentation box and is inscribed -
"Cumbrian Mountain Festival Climbing
Challenge 2003" as per the second photo.
There are different sizes for the different categories Entry fee varies depending on the generosity of the Mountain Rescue Team hosting the event, but regardless of how much is charged, whether free entry or 50p a go, all takings will be for the volunteer teams. They need your help financially so they can help you when you need them (if you know what I mean) |

Medals will be awarded on each of the three days 19th, 20th, 21st with the winning times taken forward to the Easter Monday Event at Brockhole, Windermere - overall winners of the County Challenge will be presented with their medals ( the same categories) at 5.00 pm that day - the three venues are as follows |
